A container stopped at Khorgos or Almaty = demurrage, missed season, lost customers. The usual cause: no EAC mark.

Kazakhstan, Russia, Belarus, Armenia and Kyrgyzstan share the Eurasian Economic Union. For low-voltage appliances the EAC mark under TR CU 004 is mandatory — no declaration, no clearance. The declaration must come from an accredited body inside the EAEU, name a local representative, cover your exact model and power range, and the mark must sit on both the unit and the carton with the declaration number on the shipping documents.

A factory that only offers a CE sticker cannot clear EAEU customs. Ask for the EAC declaration before you place the order, not after the container arrives.
