An aluminum pot on induction = nothing heats = "defective" return. The unit is fine; the pot isn't. Aluminum is the household default across Africa & SE Asia — the #1 "broken" complaint.
Fix it before sale
- Magnet test on the box: "works with magnetic pots; test with a fridge magnet."
- Bundle a magnetic disc — any pot works.
- Sell infrared where pots are mixed — eliminates the category.
- Train retail partners — one shelf line prevents most returns.
Rule for every buyer: if a magnet sticks, it works on induction. Print it.
